OPTIMUM HORIZONTAL GUIDANCE TECHNIQUES FOR AIRCRAFT
This paper discusses some problems of automatic guidance of an aircraft in the horizontal plane. The guidance laws given in this paper minimize the arc length of the trajectories to fly between initial and final conditions subject to a constraint on the turning radius of the aircraft.
