Many drugs and stimulants can adversely affect the complex functions of the eye and thus disable a driver in traffic. There are a number of frequently used pharmaca which cause a disturbance of vision. Drivers should be informed about the possible side effects of drugs on their eyesight. (Author/TRRL)
