WHAT EVERY MOTORIST SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MOTORCYCLISTS

The article attempts to give advice to motorists regarding precautions to be taken to safeguard against accidents with motorcyclists. The importance of looking out for motorcyclists is emphasized. The differences between experienced and inexperienced motorcyclists are noted. Once a motorcyclist has been seen, the motor vehicle driver should prepare for moves that the motorcyclist might make. Lane changes made by motorcyclists are noted and the problem of blind spots is discussed. Intersections are areas where special care is necessary.
