CAPACITY INCREASE OF THE RAW-GRINDING PLANT IN THE LOULE CEMENT WORKS, PORTUGAL
The capacity increase of a burning line entails necessary adaptations to the complete production line, upstream and downstream from the kiln. In the Loule cement plant, whose capacity increase was determined by the Portugese cement group Cimpor, the kiln production rate augmented in 1983 from 1,000 to 1,500 t/d and even reached 1,750 t/d, resulting from a precalcination unit.
