On board the containership "Atlantic Crown" measurements have been carried out with regard to: the sea waves, the heaving and pitching motions, the torque and number of revolutions of both propeller shafts, the apparent wind velocity and direction. The measured values have been compared with predictions for power as well as for the motions, and satisfactory agreement is shown.
