ORE. QUESTION D 101. INTERACTION BETWEEN TRACK AND STRUCTURES DUE TO THE INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE IN THIS CASE OF CONTINUOUS WELDED RAILS: SYNTHESIS REPORT
This report discusses the total measurements of stresses in the rails, forces on the bearings, displacements and temperatures in the case of continuous welded rails on bridges. It summarises the various theoretical and practical calculation methods planned in order to explain thermal stresses as a function of the bridge structure, the track laying system, climatic conditions, expansion length, etc.
