CORRELATION OF PRESSURE DROP DATA IN PIPE FLOW OF DILUTE POLYMER SOLUTIONS
The similarities between many published correlations for turbulent drag reduction are shown. Fresh evidence to support the concept of a maximum drag reduction asymptote is also represented. A simple correlation is developed for use in a scale up process for flow of dilute polymer solutions in smooth pipes.
