CALCULATION OF MOMENTUM-TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS IN THE INITIAL SECTION OF CHANNELS
An analysis of experimental data on the local characteristics of turbulence in the initial section of channels is conducted. Generalized dependences of the components of the velocity-fluctuation intensity on the thickness and length of the boundary layer, taking account of the intermittence factor, are obtained. A method of calculating the momentum-transfer coefficients, which allows one to take into account the anisotropy of turbulent transfer processes, is proposed.
