GROUND-SUPPORTED CONCRETE FLOORS

This article reviews some important developments in ground-supported concrete slab design. Aspects covered include: long strip construction; large area pours; wide strip slab construction; reinforcement; permanent concrete side forms; post-tensioned concrete slabs.
