WHEELCHAIR CUSHIONS. SUMMARY REPORT
This report presents a summary of the functions of a wheelchair cushion, and of what to look for when choosing the most suitable cushion for an individual user. A classification of cushions covers foam, gel, water, air, silicore padding, sheepskin, and hard-based cushions. A field study covering 45 people with different handicaps, different wheelchairs and different lifestyles, is described. (TRRL)
