COMPUTER BRIDGE RATING SYSTEM
A users viewpoint is presented of the capabilities of the rating program and the structural members that it will cover, and an example is provided to illustrate the input required and output produced by such a system. The programs are designed to determine Inventory Rating, Operating Rating and Posting Limits (where required) for structures utilizing any or all of the following members: deck, stringer and girder, floor beam and truss. To illustrate the procedures involved in rating a bridge using the computer program, a single 140 span steel three truss is used as example.
