RISK TAKING AND TASK PERFORMANCE
RISICO EN TAAKUITVOERING
In this report a model of human task performance is presented in which decision making is described as balancing the feasibility and suitability of an alternative. Referring to this model several theories directed at risk taking and human task performance are discussed and evaluated. It is argued that the discussed theories all have the same basic model in common. The model emphasizes the importance of research on the determinants of feasibility and suitability of an alternative.
