THE CREEP RESPONSE OF RELOADED CONCRETE SPECIMENS
The paper describes and analyzes an experimental program in which the creep response of specimens unloaded and immediately reloaded at time T3 ("reloaded specimens"- previously loaded at time T1), specimens unloaded at time T3 ("unloaded specimens"-previously loaded at time T1) and specimens loaded for the first time at time T3 ("virgin specimens") were measured. In all, six series of experiments involving over 150 specimens were carried out. The major variables were T1, the time of initial loading, T2, the time under load; and T3, the time of unloading, reloading and loading of specimens not previously loaded. (A)
