INELASTIC BEHAVIOUR OF ALUMINA CEMENT CONCRETE UNDER VARIOUS CURING CONDITIONS
The creep phenomena of alumina cement concrete under various curing conditions were investigated so as to discuss the influences of conversion on the mechanical properties. The creep characteristics of alumina cement concrete were considerably different from those of portland cement concrete. The mechanical properties of alumina cement concrete were extremely affected by such chemical reactions as hydration and conversion. The process of conversion had an undesirable effect on the creep resistance of the concrete, but the fully converted concrete showed a strong resistance to load. /Author/
