IES GUIDE FOR PHOTOMETIC MEASUREMENT OF ROADWAY LIGHTING INSTALLATIONS

This guide is a revision of the roadway portion of the "IES Guide of Outdoor Illumination Tests." Previously, the guide referred to both sports and roadway installations; however, because of the wide differences in sports and roadway design criteria, the guide was divided and expanded for each application. Here, the guide represents an updating and expansion of the roadway lighting measurement portion to include such material as luminance measurement. In addition to the Testing Procedures Committee, the guide was reviewed by the Measurement and Calculation Subcommittee of the Roadway Lighting Committee.
