COMMENTS ON THE WATERPROOFING OF TUNNELS

ANNOTAZIONI SULL'IMPERMEABILIZZAIIONE DELLE GALLERIE

This article summarises the experience of the authors in designing and supervising the waterproofing of tunnels, and consists mainly of three parts concerning respectively pre-waterproofing treatment, waterproofing during construction, and waterproofing operations in tunnels already built. Special attention is paid to the use of PVC films (ISO-PVC method), and to techniques based on the use of epoxy resins. /TRRL/
