GAS TURBINES DRIVE NEW CONCEPT MARINE CRAFT
A new concept of marine vessel drive solution in rough water is presented. The design is based on the hydro-ski principle powered with gas turbines for high speed and coupled with waterjet pumps installed in each planing ski. Results of tests conducted on Aquarius vessel are discussed. Comparative analysis is made regarding economics with other marine transportation vessels.
