THE USE OF BITUMEN EMULSION FOR COATING ROAD AGGREGATES
The paper outlines the various aspects of the stability of bitumen emulsions, lists some of the factors affecting their behavior when mixed with aggregates, and attempts to explain this behavior. There follows a survey of some of the mixing processes carried out with bitumen emulsions and the paper concludes with a list of the advantages claimed for the use of emulsions in the processes. /TRRL/
