NEW ASPHALT COMPACTOR

The C615A self-propelled vibratory compactor suitable for asphalt construction, and developed by Hysto Europe Ltd., is described briefly. The machine is equipped with a Detroit 3-53 diesel engine with built-in mechanical governor, and has a steel plate drum 1,245mm. in diameter and 1,829 mm in width which delivers a dynamic force of 11,340kg at 1,800 vibrations per minute. /TRRL/
