PRODUCT OF THE TRANSPORTATION EDUCATION PROCESS

A consultant presents his view of what is needed in the transportation education process. The fluidity of the field of transportation planning must be realized; methods of planning are changing rapidly; data content and availability are changing; the content of the field of transportation planning is expanding, as is the number of persons who want to be included in the process. The qualities seen by the author as requirements for graduates of transportation education programs are presented.
