RHEOLOGY OF ARGENTINIAN ASPHALTS AT LOW TEMPERATURE
REOLOGIA DE LOS ASFALTOS ARGENTINOS A BAJAS TEMPERATURAS
This paper descripes a technique for obtaining the viscoelastic parameters describing the rheological behavior of asphaltic cements used in pavement construction. The technique consists in subjecting the asphaltic cement specimens to a constant stress level and obtaining the strain time relation. Tests were carried out at a temperature of 0 degrees C. Results were analyzed and viscoelastic parameters determined. The frequency range and dynamic moduli were calculated. Some asphalts were previously aged according to the rolling thin film test, at a Temperature of 163 Degrees C, for a period of 75 minutes. /TRRL/
