DOUBLE DRUM ROLLER

Details are given of the Winget Sovemat ST42 double drum roller developed by Winget Ltd, which has been specially designed to compact back fill in trenches. Both sides of the machine are completely smooth and very robust so that the roller requires minimum assistance from the operator, and the controls are simple and easy to manipulate in a confined space. The machine is ideal for use in small areas inaccessible to other rollers. /TRRL/
