FROST DAMAGE
FROSTSCHAEDEN
The author differentiates between primary and secondary frost damage and makes a special study of secondary damages, e.g. rupture of the surfacing above points weakened by water penetration under traffic loads. Several preventive and remedial measures are proposed, and mention is made of the "Criterium-Canagrande" which lists natural construction materials resistant to frost and their source. /IRRD/
