FILLING CRACKS WITH EPOXY RESIN
DITCHEN VON RISSEN MIT EPOXYDHARZ
Two methods are described of filling cracks in concrete (1) by grouting and (2) by application of resin with a brush. Directives for the selection of the resin are given. Tests on core samples have shown that grouting gives lasting results. The depth of penetration of the resin applied with a brush is sufficient, in the majority of cases, to ensure that cracks are made waterproof and to prevent the reinforcement from getting rusty. /IRRD/
