SITE MATERIALS HANDLING, THE FACTS ON PUMPING CONCRETE

Concrete pumping techniques and equipment currently used in England are briefly described and factors ensuring the pumpability of concrete are discussed. Details are given of various types of pumps available. Mention is made of problems arising from the selection of aggregates suitable for the manufacture of pumped concrete and some examples of bridge deck construction are given. /IRRD/
