TRANSPORT OF FACTORY-MADE READY-MIXED CONCRETE

TRANSPORT AT FAERDIGBLANDET BETON

This article lists the factors which should be taken into account for the satisfactory transport of ready-mixed concrete. The delivery capacity is not proportional to the number of lorries, and mixing time should be as short and uniform as possible. Guidelines are given for determining the size of the fleet of lorries needed, and for distributing it among factories in the same area. /IRRD/
