RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ACCIDENTS AND TRAFFIC VOLUMES AT URBAN INTERSECTIONS
This report presents results of a study carried out in the department of main roads. New South Wales, to determine the relationship between accidents and traffic volumes at urban intersections. Based on the relationship determined, accident rates were calculated and compared to investigate the relative effects of the different traffic engineering measures on accident reductions at urban intersections. /Author/
