A STRESS-STRAIN RELATIONSHIP FOR CONCRETE AT HIGH TEMPERATURES
THIS PAPER REVIEWS SOME DATA ON THE EFFECTS OF TEMPERATURE (UP TO 700 DEG C) UPON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STRESS AND STRAIN FOR CONCRETE UNDER COMPRESSION. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE EFFECTS OF TEMPERATURE CAN BE REPRESENTED BY AN EQUATION GIVEN IN THIS ARTICLE. THIS SCALING LAW IS USED TO DERIVE A RELATIONSHIP FOR THE VARIATION OF THE MODULUS OF ELASTICITY WITH TEMPERATURE.
