STABILITY OF MUD-DRILLED TRENCHES
STABILITE DES TRANCHEES FOREES A LA BOUE.
A new method of calculation is proposed which is based on calculations of slope stability. It is estimated that only methods of limit design comparible with limit conditions are those which assume that perfect plasticity is measured on the surface and not through the soil mass bordering the trench. Examples of circular slip surface and plane slip surface are given.
