RECREATIONAL TRAVEL BEHAVIOR: THE CASE FOR DISAGGREGATE, PROBABILISTIC MODELS
This paper examines the use of disaggregate, probabilistic models in the context of recreational travel behavior. The requirements of recreational models and the previous research in this area are assessed. A strategy is then proposed for using disaggregate, stochastic models to represent recreational travel behavior. Finally, a research program in suggested for a disaggregate, stochastic recreational travel model.
