BEHAVIOR DEMAND MODELING AND VALUATION OF TRAVEL DEMAND. SUMMARY OF RESEARCH RECOMMENDATIONS

This paper discussed the 3 primary research recommendations that evolved from the Conference on Issues in Behavioral Demand Modeling and the Evaluation of Travel Time. The first recommendation concerned data collection for travel demand research, the second concerned development of travel demand models with consideration given to both short-range and long-range objectives, and the third concerned the dissemination of information on both current and future models. Following the discussion of these recommendations, several specific areas of recommended research were summarized.
