CALCULATING THE MOVEMENT OF GROUND WATER
The steady and irregular movement of ground water is considered. The equations are presented for finding the flow in fulfilling the conditions of uniform variability of the laminar regime of ground water movement, and the determination is described of the acceleration of motion of ground water in a channel. The sequence in the estimation of the depression curve for the ground flow is detailed and an example is presented as illustration. A comparison of the estimation of the depression curve using the method set forth here is in good agreement with the method of N.W. Pavlovskiiy.
