THE AGGREGATES INDUSTRY IN THE 1970S

The author discusses the future of the industry with respect to the demand for aggregates, aggregate reserves, extraction techniques, manpower, the structure of the industry and cooperation between industrial organizations. The paper was presented for discussion at the Sand and Gravel Association 1970 Convention at Torquay.
