AUTO FATALITIES BY POSTURAL ASPHYXIA
We present four cases of motor vehicle death by postural asphyxia. These deaths represent 4% of all motor vehicle occupant deaths during the study period of one year. The criteria for the diagnosis and the implications for the injury and death reduction effort are discussed.
