JUSTICE FOR ALL?
This paper discusses the problems of just compensation and the valuation of property. The author presents court cases where decisions were made concerning the use of business profits or lack of them, location, and goodwill in determining the value of property. He also comments on the problems of compensation in condemnation and reimbursement for relocation losses. He concludes by suggesting that "contemporary realism and concepts of fairness and justice require a new look at the solution (to these problems)."
