RECENT EQUIPMENT FOR THE PSYCHO-DIAGNOIS OF DRIVING APTITUDE

NEUERE GERAETE ZUR PSYCHODIAGNOSTIK DER FAHRTUECHTIGKEIT

Reference is made to two groups of apparatus for testing perception, psychomotor and complex driving variables in the manner of small-scale simulation; these are used to study the interaction of illness, medication (short and long term) and/or alcohol on driver behavior. The technical and psychological problems involved are discussed in detail. On the basis of first results obtained from healthy test subjects, the use of the method may be approved.
