THE SPACE-SAVING SNAKE CONVEYOR

For loading bulk materials in confined spaces a space-saving snake conveyor has been developed. Due to its flexibility, the snake conveyor can do the work of several conventional bulk conveyors and go through various turns, side discharge at any point, and negotiate a slope up to 40 degrees. Included are descriptions of the rubber and steel belt construction and the drive mechanisms which permit the flexibility. Also described are the optimum operating capabilities of the conveyor.
