Traffic offenders who had been found to be drinking alcohol in the years 1964-1971 in the catchment area of the institute for legal medicine, university of tuebingen, were classified according to age and compared with corresponding population figures. The 18-35 year olds were significantly highly represented, and the over 40s under-represented. Reference is made to the extraordinary loading on the social product. /TRRL/
