OBJECTIVE MEASUREMENT OF VIBRATIONS ONBOARD LORRIES
LA MESURE OBJECTIVE DU CONFORT VIBRATOIRE A BORD DES CAMIONS
The quality of a lorry is evaluated during tests on the road, the driver being subjected to complex random multi-directional vibrations. A relation was established between subjective impressions and the spectral concentration of acceleration measured on the thorax. Comfort curves are presented which express vertical, transverse and logitudinal vibrations. Their use in the design of vehicles is discussed. /TRRL/
