ALGORITHM FOR MECHANOGRAPHIC DETERMINATION OF THE TIMETABLES OF URBAN TRANSPORT LINES

UN ALGORITHMO PER LA DETERMINAZIONE MECCANOGRAFICA DEGLI ORARI DELLE LINCE URBANE DI TRASPORTO

An algorithm is proposed for the mechanized determination of the timetables of urban transport lines, which in contrast with the methods used in the past, makes use of manual techniques with the necessary schematization. The procedure, an example of which is given, eliminates the possibility of an increase in vehicles as compared with those strictly necessary and minimizes the periods of standing at terminals.
