COMPUTER HELPS IN MANAGING RAILROAD WAGON STOCK

L'ELABORATORE VIENW IN AIUTO NELLA GESTIONE DEL PARCO FERROVIARIO DELLE CARROZZE

Even today, operation of railroad wagon stock suffers from unsatisfied requirements with respect to information. An analysis is made of the reasons and consequences of this fact and the information system projected by the Italian State Railways to ensure complete solution of this problem is described. Lastly, mention is made of the further requirements in the field of information with respect to passenger traffic operations and the criteria to be followed in order to satisfy them.
