DYNAMIC PLASTIC LARGE DEFLECTIONS OF CLAMPED RECTANGULAR PLATE
The finite-element method is a very versatile method especially when applied to structures with complicated geometric shape and boundary conditions. In this Note, application of the finite-element method is extended to a rectangular plate undergoing large deflection elastic-plastic dynamic responses. The present predicted responses show very good agreement with experimental results.
