NOVEL COMBUSTION CHAMBER CONCEPT OF DIESEL ENGINES
UNE NOUVELLE CHAMBRE DE COMBUSTION POUR MOTEUR DIESEL
Data of an engine with variable geometry combustion chamber that has been developed and tested are presented. The efficiency is comparable with engine types with direct injection. Particular attention is paid to the fact that lower pollution rates are achieved, making such engines candidates for automobiles. Only a railroad engine was tested so far.
