SEAT BELT FRACTURES
Change fractures occurring in car accidents are due to improperly placed or loose seat belts. This injury results from high velocity collisions. The fracture is surprisingly stable and can be treated by bracing or casting in extension. The prognosis for this fracture is excellent.
