AN AIRLINE FLEET PLANNING MODEL WITH FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS
A linear programming model is presented which determines how to operate an airline system, over a planning horizon, so as to maximize profit. The composition of the fleet, the assignment of these aircraft to routes, and the financing of fleet acquisition and operation.
