AIRSPACE MODEL DESCRIPTION

this paper discusses some basic considerations regarding the development of an airspace model. The simulation model described is designed to study both the effects of demand upon air traffic control systems and to evaluate new concepts of control. In addition to the overall model description, one portion of the model, flight generation, is examined in detail.
