INSTRUMENT LANDING SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
Two new analog-type monitors have been designed, built and tested for the purpose of providing a reliable, and accurate representation of the ILS localizer signal as seen by an aircraft flying on an approach. This annual progress report also contains discussions of other work performed to provide for improvement in the operation of the present instrument landing system.
