AIRLINE OPERATING CASH FLOW MODEL

The Operating Cash Flow Model described herein was developed to give management a flexible tool which would provide faster and more accurate financial and operating data of airline operations. The model utilizes various pieces of historical input data and growth projections to produce a projection of an airline's net profit, operating cash flow, and various operating statistics. Part of the above data includes a fleet mix of present aircraft, future scheduled deliveries, and if desired, possible future purchases. With this fleet mix and other data the model proceeds to develop depreciation schecu es, pre-delivkr- and delivery paymknts, direct operating cowts, available seat miles, debt repayment schedules, tabular summaries of the above, and a complete financial summary of the airline by year. The information generated can be valuable for management's use as a financial planning and airline planning tool.
