A SURVEY OF THE JET AIRCRAFT NOISE PROBLEM
The noise problem is divided into the noise source, the propagation medium and the receiver. The physical characteristics of noise and noise measurement are discussed. An examination of the evolution of noise restrictions and present techniques of jet noise control is followed by an indication of possible trends.
