THE SUPERSONIC TRANSPORT: A FACTUAL BASIS FOR DECISION

The accompanying document presents the basis for the AIAA's conclusion that: ''Current plans advanced by Department of Transportation for the United States Supersonic Transport (SST) prototype program are reasonable and proper and in the best interests of this nation.'' The SST program was examined from performance, operational, environmental, and economic viewpoints.
